Hotel La Vega
Hotel La Vega is a 4-star hotel located in Capri, with a family history that dates back over half a century. Grandmother Venere inherited La Vega, which at the time was just a house, from her father Antonio, who was a florist. Indeed, in the gardens, you will notice a variety of plants. The hotel was founded around the 1950s by grandmother Venere and grandfather Carlo, who began hosting the first guests in some rooms of the house, forcing the family to live in a small part of it. With the subsequent earnings, they purchased the surrounding land and built the current hotel, complete with rooms, a swimming pool, and a restaurant. It was during those years and in that house that Claudio and Costantino were born. Initially amateur radio operators, Costantino would pursue a political career, becoming mayor of Capri several times, while Claudio took on the family business, bringing in his know-how and the knowledge he acquired during his travels around the world. It was grandfather Carlo who named the hotel. A professor of natural sciences, he chose the name of the brightest star in the Lyra constellation, which during the summer months is visible from our structure near the zenith. The family tradition continues to this day, with the management of the hotel passing from generation to generation. Today, the hotel is run by Claudio, with the indispensable help of his wife Bina, and their children Carlo, Costantino, and Cristina, who continuously improve the structure by offering new services to guests. Hotel La Vega offers a unique experience to its guests, combining a rich history of tradition with warm and welcoming hospitality. The hotel’s privileged location in Capri, combined with its comfortable rooms and pool, makes Hotel La Vega an ideal destination for an unforgettable vacation.
